Alona Tal

Alona Tal, an Israeli-American actress and singer was born on the 20th of October 20th, 1983, in Herzliya, Israel. She started her career after she served in the Israeli Defense Forces. In 2003, she appeared in an Israeli movie. This was her first big breakthrough. In 2003, she played in two TV shows in Israel. She was also a musician and recorded a number of songs together with Israeli rapper Subliminal. Tal was moved in with her sister in New York to take a break from her career. Then, she teamed up with Haitian artist Wyclef Jean for the hit song "Party to Damascus". American television also helped her make a name for herself, beginning by playing a regular part on the television show Veronica Mars. She initially was a candidate for the role lead but the show's creator Rob Thomas created a new character for her. Tal eventually was offered a regular position on the CBS series.
