Elizabeth Leigh Vassey

Elizabeth Leigh Vassey (born August 9 in 1972) is an American actress. She is well-known for her roles as Emily Ann Sago, Captain Liberty, in All My Children and in The Tick. Wendy Simms, in CSI: Crime Scene Investigation in 2001. Wendy Beaumont in Nikki & Nora in Nikki & Nora. Vassey was a teenager Emily Ann Sago on the soap series All My Children from 1988 until 1991. She was a recurring character on the television series Tru Calling, as Dr. Carrie Allen. She also appeared in several seasons and episodes of Two and a Half Men. Vassey played Wendy Simms' recurring role in CSI: Crime Scene Investigation from 2005 until 2010. Beginning with the tenth season, Vassey was promoted to a regular cast member , and was first featured in the opening credits. Entertainment Weekly reported that Vassey was not returning for the 11th season. She was a guest on one episode in that season.Vassey appeared in a cameo appearance on Joss Whedon's online musical, Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along blog in the role of "Fury Leika". Vassey is married to David Emmerichs, a camera operator.In 2002, with fellow actress Kristin Bauer, Vassey started a company named Neurosis to the T(ee), which designs and sells slogan-covered T-shirts for women. The slogans play on female anxieties and neuroses and often relate to relationships.
