Anne Burrell
Anne W. Burrell, an American TV chef, and the former Institute of Culinary Education instructor, is a TV personality. Burrell hosts Food Network's Secrets of a Restaurant Chef and also serves as the host of Worst Cooks in America. Anne Burrell, in her Food Network series Secrets of a Restaurant Cook will show you how to master easy methods and her signature blonde spiky locks. Chef Burrell was also employed by many of the best restaurants that are located in New York, studied the tradition of Italian cuisine, and the culinary landscape in Italy and competed in the Food Network's Iron Chef America. Growing up in the upstate New York area, Chef Burrell developed a passion for cooking and food at an early age. The Culinary Institute of America was a natural next step to take after graduating with an Associate of Arts degree in English and Communications at Canisius College Buffalo NY. The Culinary Institute of America has been a fantastic learning experience for me. I couldn't learn and do enough. Chef Burrell following her graduation from The Culinary Institute for Foreigners in Italy was employed for a year in Umbria at La Taverna del Lupo and Tuscany's La Bottega del 30, a Michelin-starred restaurant. In her time in Italy she was able to fully be aware of the history and philosophy of Italian food and culture that made a lasting impression on her culinary viewpoint. Burrell was a member of the Garden of Dreams Foundation Advisory Board which brightens the lives of children facing obstacles and is also an Juvenile Diabetic Research Foundation celebrity ambassador where she promotes juvenile diabetes awareness. as a speaker, guest and mentor, she travels all over the United States to discuss her passion for cooking as well as her profession. Anne often has mentioned throughout her culinary career that she is incredibly fortunate to be able to share what's really important to her.
